A New Redrum
Early last month, Mayor Bushnell announced that changes were to take place in Redrum in the month of July. It is now July and Redrum citizens are feeling the change. Amongst the many new changes is a new postal service, a new way of spam protection, a new way of keeping out neighbours you don't wish to associate with and of course, many new means of protecting yourself from criminals.
Mayor Bushnell has opened up several shops in Redrum, against the protest of protective mothers. Believing that everyone should have a right to protect themselves, he has opened up several weapon shops in Central Boulevard; Hooligans, Safari, and Medieval.
Although Central Boulevard is now in a state of confusion, crowded with many supporters and protesters of the new shops, shop owners are claiming that they have never experienced such a boom in income. This has made Mayor Bushnell the most popular and hated mayor Redrum has ever known.
Of course, there have been rumours flying about that Mayor Bushnell is planning on retiring. Sources have said that Mayor Bushnell will be calling for a re-election sometime in the near future. They say that Mayor Bushnell, having served Redrum for over two years, is tired of the constant complaints and wishes to take a break from politics so that he can have some peaceful rest. Coincidentally, Mayor Bushnell has called for a press conference in three weeks time. Perhaps, it is to announce his retirement. We shall find out soon enough.
